Rare Lightweight Specification.

The car was ordered new and delivered by the dealer already in this configuration, intended for sporting use, with aluminium bonnet, boot lid and doors, together with rear Plexiglas windows. One registered owner until 2026, and the car has always remained within the same family. Only 21,000 km from new.

An exceptionally well-preserved example, never subjected to a full restoration. The bodywork, paintwork and interior have been carefully preserved over the years, with only the necessary conservation work carried out. The car retains its matching-numbers engine and chassis. It is believed that only around 50 examples were produced in this particular lightweight specification, making this Fulvia HF 1.6 Series II an extremely rare version.

After approximately 25 years in storage, the car underwent a thorough mechanical recommissioning and running-gear overhaul, with preservation and originality always kept as the main priority.

Work carried out includes:

new tyres;

brake servo;

complete overhaul of the braking system;

replacement of all oils and fluids;

replacement of all necessary rubber seals, bushes and components;

shock absorbers;

overhaul of the mechanical linkages;

fuel tank overhaul;

alignment and wheel geometry checks;

carburettor cleaning and tuning;

valve clearance adjustment;

general inspection of the mechanical components and running gear.

The car is now fully operational, thoroughly inspected and ready to drive. Following the work, the car was also tested on a hill-climb route in Tuscany, Italy, covering a course of approximately 13 km three times, confirming the car’s full mechanical efficiency and reliability.
